Run Claris E-mailer by double clicking the program icon. 2. Go to the Setup pull-down menu and choose Internet Setup.  You will see the following screen.  3. Enter the following information: Account Name - Enter your username in all lower case. User Name - Enter your username which can be the same as the Account Name. Email Address - Enter your e-mail address like: username@yourdomain.com. Email Account - Enter your e-mail account like: username@mail.yourdomain.com. Email Password - Enter your password. SMTP Host - Enter your ISP's Smtp-server. 4. Click Save Checking Your Email Top 1. Go to your Mail/Connect Now menu.  You will see the following screen.  2. Click Connect to have Claris Emailer retrieve your mail. When it does, you will see the following screen.  3. To read a message, simply double click the one you want to read. Sending Your Email Top 1. Go to the Mail/New pull-down menu. You will see the following screen.  2. Type the subject of your message in the Subject field located at the top of the screen. 3. Fill in the Recipient field with the name of the person you wish to email. 4. Enter the e-mail address of the person you wish to e-mail in the Address field. 5. Write your message in the large space provided. 6. When done, click the Send Now button at the top of the screen. Claris and Teleport Top Keep in mind that Teleport does not support Claris E-mailer. This document is provided only to offer users of E-mailer a way to configure the program to receive e-mail from their Teleport accounts. |
